Engineer III

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of the following PulsePoint location. 2103 Staples Mill Rd, Richmond, VA 23230

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

The Engineer III will perform detailed design, development, testing support, and facilitate the production rollout of Contact Center IVR and routing applications, and migrate to Cloud platform using Agile development methodology.

How you will make an impact:

• Participate in business meetings to break down functional requirements to manageable technical requirements, review project progress, and assess potential risks.

• Identify gaps and document technical limitations for migration activities.

• Support production defects and outages while working with business teams to reduce abrasion and reduce any application downtime.

• Create customer reports, analyze key data values, and identify customer preferences and patterns to redesign applications.

• Develop custom UI applications using exposed APIs to benefit business partners for quick modifications.

• Propose new and better business models to customers to improve their system efficiency.

• Identify new customer trends to evolve the routing solutions for optimal business benefits.

• Assist with the development of less experienced team members.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field of study. Three (3) years of experience in related occupation(s).

Additional Requirements:

Three (3) years of experience must include:

• Three (3) years of experience designing, developing and implementing Contact Center applications for IVR, routing, reporting and recording.

• Three (3) years of experience with Genesys platform architecture, Genesys Framework, configuration management, Genesys callflow development, and Genesys Platform SDK.

• Three (3) years of experience with Genesys Cloud.

• Three (3) years of experience with Java and J2EE programming, web service and application development, database design and queries, shell scripting, and robotic automations.

• Three (3) years of experience designing and developing custom solutions with Amazon Cloud platform and AWS services.

• Three (3) years of experience with NodeJs and Python programming.

• Three (3) years of experience with Agile development methodology and full project life cycle.
