The Role

Provides direction to a team that provides front line monitoring and customer support for the Managed Security Services portfolio. Provide combined Tier 1, 2 and 3 support for the Managed Services product and customer impacting issues. Ensure health, stability, and availability of the MSS platform. provide all incident response and triage functions, chronic identification, analysis and repair to the MSS platforms.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Provides incident response and triage for issues encountered on MSS platform

  • Responds to customer inquires, outage, repair and escalation support

  • Provides a 24x7x365 operational support globally

  • Establishes critical stakeholder relationships with key internal and customer groups

  • Builds a high performance team. Setting goals, holds reports accountable, develops direct reports to make decisions and take action

What We Look For in a Candidate

  • BS or equivalent of 10 years plus in Network Security or Information Technology

  • Strong ability to present to executive internal and external teams

  • Creation of processes from scratch and process improvements

  • Mush have strong system knowledge in UNIX,LINUX, Windows, Fortinet, Radware, Splunk and Arbor

  • How to interrupt network attack signatures, suspicious log messages, and how to harden systems

  • Understanding of IP protocols including routing with OSPF and BGP

  • Networking concepts including map the nodes of a network, define and describe TCP, IP, ICMP and UDP protocols

  • Knowledge of forensic techniques, preserve digital evidence, and perform basic network forensic investigations

  • Knowledge of emerging threats, how to triage, locate information on advanced Network security

Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

Location Based Pay Ranges

$128310 - $171080 in these states: AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, and SD.

$135060 - $180080 in these states: AZ, AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WV, WI, and WY.

$141820 - $189090 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, OR, and RI.

$148570 - $198090 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.

As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.
