Description

Role: Cybersecurity Tools Manager and Scrum Master

Role Overview: Cybersecurity Tools Manager and Scrum Master oversees the Cybersecurity tool suite and manages large projects within this suite of tools and applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the development and operational teams for all cybersecurity Tools in the stack.

  • (Current Stack: CyberArk, Sailpoint, Splunk, Nessus)

  • Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress to all affected teams and management

  • Facilitates discussion and conflict resolution to improve team productivity while promoting continuous improvement and continuous development

  • Updates Agile tracking systems to provide transparency on product and sprint backlogs

  • Assists the team in making appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition and ensures that the development teams are practicing the core Agile principles

  • Lead all project compliance activities by updating the required dashboards; writing, compiling, and/or editing project artifacts; and preparing for milestone reviews

  • Make recommendations on how information request responses should be worded or formatted to satisfy the requestor's requirements and avoid rework

  • Oversee scope management tasks, by supporting change management activities, and by participating in business requirements development, creating acceptance criteria, sprint reviews, and release planning

  • Assist the SailPoint Team in preparing for release and deployment activities and in coordinating with the appropriate stakeholders

  • Work proactively and independently to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

  • Function as part of an integrated team sharing products, best practices, and information across the portfolio

  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors and 10 years or more of related experience; Masters and one year of related experience. Technical certification in relative technology functional area or subject can be substitute for degree in specific technology. Or 15 years' experience without degree.

  • PMP and a history of running projects in an agile fashion

  • Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to demonstrate initiative to address incoming items without always being specifically tasked, a self-starter.

  • Ability to work under pressure, coordinate multiple assignments at once, and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service

  • High attention to detail

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to grasp complex technologies easily, learn new information quickly, and adapt to changing job requirements
