The centers provide campus-based direct services and supports at 13 centers located throughout the state. The CTD Director is responsible for the coordination and oversight of the CTD Department and all activities to ensure staff are appropriately oriented, trained, and competent in their required skills for each staffed position at the facility. Responsibilities include planning, program design, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of all facility training programs; analyzing training needs; preparing materials; and coordinating training sessions. The CTD Director ensures there are sufficient class offerings to assure expected facility training compliance as well as continuing education opportunities. The CTD Director supervises staff in the CTD Department. Completion of work requires originating new techniques, establishing criteria, or developing new information of a complex nature with decisions that are varied but based on broad principles and guidelines. Works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.Essential Job FunctionsAttends work on a regular basis and may be required to work a specific shift schedule or, at times, even a rotating schedule, extended shift and/or overtime in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned.
