Need 12 full-time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operators to work at locations in Otter Tail and Stearns Counties in Minnesota. From: 03/01/2024 to 12/30/2024 Work: 40 hrs./week; Mon. - Fri. 8 hrs./day. 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A general work week is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. However, because of the complexity of the crop conditions workers may be requested to work long days as well as on Saturdays, Sundays or Federal Holidays, depending upon the conditions of the commodities being produced. Therefore, hours above 40 per week may be offered but are not guaranteed. All hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. At the employer's sole discretion, applicants may be offered higher than the advertised wage or possibly an end-of-season bonus, due to factors including experience, merit, attendance, attitude, and/or skill. Must Apply By: 08/01/2024 JOB DESCRIPTION: Prepare fields for planting. Pick rocks and operate tractors to till the soil. Operate farming equipment and trucks in order to plant, spray, harvest and haul small grain crops. Transport harvested crops from farm to market. Harvest, bale and stack alfalfa hay. Load, haul and apply manure to fields. Service and repair farming machinery. Repair farm structures. General farm upkeep duties such as facility maintenance, mechanical duties and shop work. Winterize all farming equipment at the end of the growing season. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have six (6) months experience in Agricultural Equipment Operation. No minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
