GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Will be responsible for department in absence of Supervisor/Manager.

  • Work closely with all Supervisors and carry out their directives.

  • Writes standardized work procedures and trains team members on processes including job standard operating procedures (SOP’s) for new and transferred associates.

  • Direct and assign duties for co-workers; assisting them with any problems that arise.

  • Establishes and implements measures to improve safety, quality and productivity.

  • Examines product to determine if it meets specification and quality requirements.

  • Working knowledge of all equipment, departmental procedures and duties.

  • Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety and GMP regulations.

  • Work overtime hours and extra days as needed.

  • Maintain good relations with co-workers, and set a positive example.

  • Follow the company core values and treat everyone with dignity and respect.

  • All other duties as assigned.

DETAILED JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicate with inbound Haulers to populate the Daily Dry Dock Schedule

  • Oversee inbound shipments daily.

  • Reconciling PO’s to ensure they match the Inbound Paperwork

  • Ensuring Trailer Seals and COA’s match Driver Paperwork

  • Receiving of all Inbound MIP’s

  • Formulating a plan for the put away of all MIP’s

  • Overseeing the Allergen segregation of Ingredients

  • Overseeing the LOT rotation with all Ray Materials

  • Monitoring HOT BOX to ensure Ingredients are Staged to Temper

  • Request orders of non-LPN controlled Items – Glue, Slip Sheets, Misc. Corrugate

  • Work with Warehouse Management on 3PL ALDI REBOX Slip Sheet Inventory

  • Laying out overall Warehouse schematic when new Customers are onboarded.

  • Communicating with Warehouse Management and Procurement Team when stagnant Inventory is identified.

  • Work with Warehouse Management to ensure Manpower needs are met with volume changes / vacations etc.… at both Dry Warehouse locations.

  • Formulate a daily plan with Plant Warehouse and Rose City Warehouse Teams to ensure Production needs are met.

  • Assist Inventory Team with Inventory questions.

  • Assist Procurement Team with Inventory levels.

  • Communicate to Procurement Team to ensure Inventory levels are within acceptable range based of current levels and expected receipts.

  • Conduct Dry Van Inventories to ensure Production needs are met and Trailers have the necessary items to support both Dry Warehouses

  • Monitor Daily Inventory levels of Dry Plant Warehouse

  • Formulate a plan to maintain common MIP inventory levels at the Dry Plant Warehouse

  • Communicate discrepancies on pick sheets and request corrections.

  • Monitor UHT Run Schedule multiple times a day.

  • Make necessary changes in loading plans to support Production needs.

  • Formulate and communicate Trailer loading for off shifts.

  • Communicate through the Warehouse Team E-mail Address Daily.

  • Shift Handoffs, Run Schedule changes etc.

  • Assist in training of new Dry Warehouse Employees

  • Move Trailers between Rose City and the Production Plant

  • Maintain valid CDL.

  • Maintain constant communication with the entire Dry Warehouse Team

  • Reporting any and all concerns of Day-to-Day Dry Warehouse issues with Warehouse Management

  • Work with Property Management on any Maintenance concerns at Rose City

  • Assist with the overall housekeeping of the entire Rose City Location
