Aerotek Accountant (QUICK HIRE) in Richmond, Indiana


  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements for certain involuntary and voluntary reinsurance pooling mechanisms with external organizations.

  • Coordinate the preparation of the Management Review analytics while gaining an understanding of the management and legal entity financial reporting structure for North America

  • Verify the accuracy of the financial statements by reviewing the general ledger and front-end system processing for pool reported results for the Companies

  • Assist the Pools & Associations Team in the Richmond Processing/Operations center

  • Successfully perform various tasks within the Financial Shared Service Center including data analysis, reconciliations, journal entry preparation, US GAAP and Statutory financial reporting analytics, preparation and analysis, process documentation, and special projects as directed

  • Prepare reconciliations and research out-of-balances by running queries, analyzing PeopleSoft accounts, and communicating with business contacts. Assist with tri-annual audits for servicing carrier operations

  • Continue to support departmental initiatives and play an active role regarding special projects as identified by management

  • Use various PeopleSoft end user query tools to assist in the development and modification of queries, Nvsion, and Essbase generated reports which are utilized in the analytical review process
