Job Title: Sr. Piping Designer Duration: 12 Months Location: Richland, WA Position Responsibilities: Reports to piping layout facility design lead Job Dimensions: Essential Job Duties: Essential duties include performing 3D modeling of piping and equipment in a 3D model environment and preparation of drawings/documents for General Arrangements and piping isometrics drawings. The selected candidate will assist with the coordination of 3D model activities, i.e. input, interference reconciliation, etc. with other physical-related disciplines. Support with planning and scheduling and prepare/maintain design procedures, and standards to provide quality design documents as directed. Selected candidate will Interface with stress and pipe support engineers, construction, and suppliers during the preparation of piping designs for the purpose of model/space control, etc. and perform reviews of engineering documents. Candidate should possess an advanced knowledge of piping codes such as ASME B31.3 or B31.1. Basic Qualifications: Hands-on experience using in a 3D piping design platform and experience using a 3D isometric extraction program. Extensive knowledge & application of ASME B31.1 and/or B31.3 codes Education/experience included: AA/AS/Cert with 11 years of related design experience; or 15 years related design experience Minimum Qualifications: * Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical (if located at the construction site), and background check which includes verification of employment and education. * Must be able to obtain a Department of Energy (DOE) badge for access to the Client Site.
