Location: Richland, WA Type: Contract Job #7536 Overview: ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Project Coordinator rolewill coordinate project teams by planning, scheduling, and controlling project activities. This position will act as a project specialist, possessing in-depth knowledge of specific projects, staying up-to-date on new developments and technologies, monitoring projects for efficiency improvements, and creating budgetary estimates. This full-time position is located in Richland, WA. Acts as a specialist for specific projects with detailed knowledge of all aspects of the projects. Maintain a knowledge base of new development and technology. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from accredited college or university and 1 year of experience in a technical field or associate degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, OR related technical curriculum from accredited college or university and 3 years' experience in a technical field OR High School Diploma/GED and 5 years' experience in a technical field Basic project management techniques. Basic core values as related to human performance, cost-effective work execution. Basic use of computer software tools. Ability to exercise sound judgment, weighing alternative courses of action and making decisions that are based on factual information and rational assumptions, taking organization resources into consideration. Demonstrated ability in planning and organizational skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must establish goals, set priorities, and maintain an awareness of interrelationships among activities. Possess strong project management skills and abilities, including leading projects and initiatives. Ability to develop cost to benefit analysis in support of project options.
