We are currently seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician for our Richland, Washington facility. This is a day shift position, typically working 4-10’s with plenty of opportunity for overtime. There are multiple work areas with many different pieces of equipment/machines so you will constantly be challenged and use your skills on a regular basis.

As an Industrial Maintenance Electrician you are part of a highly skilled team that is critical to ensuring equipment and systems are fully operational for continuous production and to consistently meet production goals. Our Richland Operation specializes in melting Titanium and Titanium Alloys to produce ingots for use in multiple applications in the Aerospace and Medical Markets. Maintenance Electricians will service and troubleshoot various industrial machinery and equipment, industrial mobile equipment, and plant facilities. The ability to pay close attention to detail, stay organized to ensure accuracy, have mechanical, troubleshooting, basic math and computer skills are in the skillset of a successful Industrial Maintenance Electrician.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of machinery/equipment/facilities which will include mechanical, vacuum, hydraulic, pneumatic, cooling and up to 480v powered electrical systems

  • Troubleshoot machinery/equipment/facilities to determine cause of operation problems

  • Industrial Mobile Equipment operation including various sizes of forklifts, manlifts, and cranes

  • Perform machinery/equipment/facilities installation and removal

  • Data entry/inventory tracking using a computerized data system and filling out various paperwork including work orders, various safety forms, purchasing forms, and other forms as necessary

  • Shop clean up duties including sweeping, organizing, cleaning surfaces, etc.

  • Read and understand required maintenance policy and procedures as assigned

  • Maintain and help develop operating and maintenance records, logs and procedures

  • Safety observations and various safety trainings including OSHA specific training

Basic Qualifications

  • Electrician program graduate

  • 5 years of electrician work experience in industrial, manufacturing, and/or processing industries with a specialty in 3 phase, 480V power distribution system

Preferences

  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and controls

  • Ability to read and understand relay, ladder logic, and schematic diagrams

  • Prior experience with PLC ladder logic

  • Journeyman Electrician program graduate/experience/license

  • Prior experience with computerized maintenance management systems

  • Knowledge of National Electrical Codes

  • Knowledge of electronics, vacuum technology, hydraulics, mechanics, and pneumatics

  • Previous experience in the metals industry

  • Previous experience operating Industrial Mobile Equipment (IME), especially forklift

  • Strong safety knowledge preferred, including Lock Out/Tag Out and Confined Space

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong electrical aptitude

  • Intermediate mechanical aptitude

  • Intermediate math skills

  • Intermediate computer skills

  • Able to read, write, speak and understand English

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong troubleshooting & organizational skills

  • Able to operate Industrial Mobile Equipment such as forklifts, manlifts, cranes, etc.

  • Must be deemed medically qualified to perform the functions the job

Hourly pay rate: $36.28 / Hour - $54.42 Hour
