Industrial Journeyman Electrician MAINTENANCE (FACTORY) Richland, WA * ID: 2296-378 * Full-Time/Regular What You've Accomplished Journeyman Electrician will have at least five years work experience in an industrial maintenance background. Incumbent is responsible for maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical control systems, control system fabrication and installation as well as power distribution system maintenance. Must be able to follow and carry out written and oral instructions and perform basic mathematical calculations. Mechanical aptitude and basic equipment operation experience is desirable. Good eyesight and manual dexterity are required. Must be physically able to lift 50 pounds, bend, stoop, and remain in a standing position for extended periods. Must be able to work a variety of shifts including rotating shift assignment. Ability to function well as a member of the work team. Electrical troubleshooting (advanced) aptitude. Significant knowledge and experience with electrical safety; able to demonstrate aptitude for electrical safety in an industrial manufacturing setting. Knowledge of relevant industrial electric codes and standards. Experience with HVAC or Fire alarm systems is a plus. As a Industrial Journeyman Electrician in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Fuel Business Unit. The Journeyman Electrician will perform all phases of skill maintenance technician work involving repairs, installation, modification, routine inspection, replacement and testing of standard and special electrical equipment within the plant. Due to the variety of tasks, a thorough knowledge of maintenance techniques, material, tools and equipment is required. The incumbent will examine equipment to diagnose trouble and affect repairs or placement of broken parts and adjust functional parts of equipment as required. May work from engineering drawings or rough sketches in performing occasional fabrication work. The incumbent must adhere to established industry and safety practices. Inspect completed work and ensure that work conforms to requirements of local building and safety codes.
