System One Electrical Design Engineer in Richland, Washington

System One is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to work on a contract basis onsite in Richland, WA with the possibility of conversion. You will have the chance to work on projects from concept, design, installation, to maintenance.

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing non-routine and varied engineering assignments in areas such as design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, specification, field tasks and problem resolution.

  • Ensuring compliance with government, organization and customer engineering standards.

  • Evaluating, selecting and applying appropriate technical techniques, procedures and criteria using your judgement and creativity.

  • Developing your knowledge of organization processes and customers.

  • Working on special projects, as directed.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

  • Electrical Engineering Degree or graduating Senior in an ABET Accredited Electrical Engineering Program.

  • AutoCAD experience is required

  • Good communication skills including the ability to comprehend and convey detailed technical data.

  • Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal working relationships.

  • Familiarity with electrical standards.

  • Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.

  • Familiarity with maintenance or project engineering in an industrial/commercial facility.

  • Strong problem identification and resolution skills.

  • Proficiency with PC-based applications such as MS Office.

  • Familiarity with nuclear fuel fabrication processes
