Role Summary:

The Consumer Servicing Specialist I provides outstanding service, assists members with inquiries, requests, and/or problems in a friendly, respectful, courteous, and professional manner.

 

What You Will Be Doing:

  1. Process and approve loan extensions in a timely manner.
  2. Coordinate the release of perfected documents on paid-in-full loans within timeframe assigned.
  3. Follow up on outstanding titles to ensure perfection of lien in timely manner, according to the guidelines under the federal and state laws.
  4. Quote, prepare and process real estate loan pay-offs.
  5. Ability to process all vital paperwork on a total loss claim for any titled collateral.
  6. Process all debt protection claims; life, disability and involuntary unemployment per guidelines.
  7. Respond to member credit dispute(s) and make corrections as necessary.
  8. Review and process insurance claims, payments, forced placement issue and refunds in a timely manner, as required.
  9. Review and process departmental reports as assigned by supervisor.
  10. Participate in assisting the processing of the annual Holiday Skip Payment Program.
  11. Support team member requests for assistance courteously, respectfully and professionally.
  12. Must understand and perform Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) functions as applicable to job responsibilities. Demonstrate compliance with all State and Federal banking regulations, including the BSA.
  13. Display leadership values such as mutual respect, trust and dignity, and act in the best interest of the Credit Union. Lead by example by displaying solid ethics and integrity at all times.

Qualifications

What You Will Need:

Must have at minimum a high school diploma.

One to five years of business work experience or secondary education or certification.

Proficiently operate standard office equipment, computer programs, lending programs, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Velocity, Akcelerant and other related programs.

Some travel is required to complete credit union training and/or fulfill duties.
