[Po[sition Summary [ Responsible for the maintenance, repair or replacement of plant equipment and systems, to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals and objectives of the company.

Principal Duties/Responsibilities. I. Maintains the plant maintenance program. a.Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment. b.Maintains and repairs maintenance shop and plant equipment. c.Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. d.Analyzes data, and makes recommendations for improving plant operations or solving maintenance related problems. e.Have a good working knowledge of pumps, valves, conveyors, gearboxes, piping etc. f.Monitors and repairs plant pneumatic and hydraulic systems g.Participate with plant safety programs: lock out tag out, confined space entry. Initiates and implements the plant maintenance program based on best practices in the ethanol industry, with an emphasis on preventive and predictive maintenance.Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.]{lang="EN"}]{lang="EN"}]{lang="EN"}

  1. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
  2. Must have good communication and organizational skills
  3. Must participate in training to continue to improve skills related to the job.
  4. Longer hours and overtime may be required for jobs to be completed.
  5. Must participate in the on call schedule.
  6. May be required to operate heavy equipment.(Forklift, pay loader, skid steer etc.)

[I.Monitors operation of plant equipment and systems. a.Reviews the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement. b.Carries out projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.   5. Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
  6. Maintenance and mechanical experience preferred. Computer skills:
