Job Description

  • Review requests for agreements (primarily sales agreements) with client and appropriate subject matter experts to draft contracts that support the company’s business objectives.

  • Coordinate approvals with appropriate subject matter experts to negotiate and draft terms and conditions in a variety of forms (new contracts, amendments, statements of work, etc.) to reach equitable resolution with the other contracting party.

  • Manage approval and sign-off of final agreement.

  • Summarize and identify areas requiring continuing monitoring and compliance in completed contracts and hand off to appropriate administrators.

  • Update databases with relevant information.

  • Manage releases of orders in company’s SAP system in accordance with contracts policy.

  • With appropriate input from Legal, advise management of contractual rights and obligations and provide interpretation of terms and conditions.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in negotiating key commercial terms and conditions.

  • Must be skilled in a digital environment: most MS Office applications (Word, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint) are essential to this job. Additional technical proficiency strongly preferred (experience with SAP, contract lifecycle management tools, and contract signature tools such as DocuSign).

  • Strong written and oral communication skills (plain-English drafting strongly preferred).

  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills. Ability to forge relationships with internal clients and outside contracting party representatives. Excellent collaboration skills and consistency on communications are essential.

  • Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and as a member of a team.

  • Knowledge of FAR/DFAR commercial contracting clauses a strong plus.

  • This is a hybrid remote position.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to change; intellectual curiosity and a passion for technology and innovation.

  • Time-management skills; ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
