Requirements:

  • ASE certification is desired

  • Current Class D - Regular Driver's License (Auto, Light Truck, Moped) Required with a good driving record

  • 18 or older Required

  • Read and comprehend instructions and information

  • Excellent oral and written skills

  • Able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily

  • Possess a high school diploma or the equivalent

  • Work comfortably with the public

  • Tidy, professional appearance

Duties and Responsibilities of the Job:

  • The Auto Service Technician is an experienced technician who is able to perform diagnoses and repairs, as assigned.

  • Performs work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership standards.

  • Diagnoses cause of malfunctions and performs repairs.

  • Communicates with the Service Advisor to obtain needed parts for the repair.

  • Examine the assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.

  • Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.

  • Road test vehicles when required.
