A-Gas Americas is looking for a customer-centric, bright, energetic, and motivated Customer Support Representative to join our growing team. The right candidate will have great communication skills, both verbal and written, and have the interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong professional relationships with all A-Gas customers.
This is an exciting opportunity that requires strong attention to detail, working well with a team, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Provide a high level of customer/supplier support and proactive account management.
Answer and direct phone calls as necessary.
Work closely with the Sales Team to provide internal customer support as needed.
Build and maintain sustainable relationships with customers/suppliers through open and interactive communication, written and verbal.
Open new customer accounts by working with Finance/RAMs/TAM to obtain the necessary documentation required by law and internal standards.
Proactive customer/supplier support to reduce/prevent complaints.
Work to ensure customer account accuracy.
Responsible for purchase order entry, sales order entry, and tracking, quickly and accurately.
Oversee inputting and editing information into Cyltrak (cylinder management system).
Collaborate with various departments to ensure jobs are completed accurately within NET terms.
Ability to work cross-departmentally to ensure customer/supplier expectations are met.
Prepare and analyze job reports to submit to Finance.
Ensure customer requirements are being met/exceeded.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
3+ years in Customer Service
AP/AR or Logistics experience is a plus.
Ability to organize, prioritize tasks, and handle numerous assignments simultaneously.
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, Salesforce, Sage Intact, Excel, and other Internet applications
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be a self-starter.
Critical thinking/problem-solving.
