We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Rhome, TX facility, to carry out repairs for all operation and building equipment to ensure the smooth running of the site. This role will work 1st Shift, primarily 7 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, some overtime may be required

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to safety and policies by taking personal responsibility to prevent injury or illness from exposure to hazards. Maintain housekeeping by adhering to established site standards and by removing all maintenance-related parts and waste to ensure a safe and orderly job site.

  • Perform the proper lock-out/tag-out procedures on equipment in accordance with applicable standards to ensure safe status prior to commencing maintenance work and minimize health, safety, and environmental hazards to employees and the community.

  • Responsible for repairs and maintenance assigned, including routine maintenance as per the quality systems including filling equipment, hoses, filters, and pumps.

  • Maintain quality control of site equipment and perform reactive maintenance to ensure the safe and continued running of all plant equipment. Maintenance should be carried out promptly with added preventative tasks to ensure reactive maintenance is not required in the future.

  • Perform tests to confirm that systems are leak-tight, weighing correctly, and functioning to design and within testing. This should include the development of equipment to ensure it is refreshed regularly to maintain the aesthetic standard. Ensure all tests are carried out and recorded as appropriate.

  • Maintain preventative maintenance log and open maintenance request log to accurately track all services provided and forecast future project completion.

  • Install, repair, and maintain all types of equipment, including new production equipment, and oversee contractors.

  • Other tasks as reasonably required.

    Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Minimum of 2-5 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment

  • Working knowledge of mechanical pumps, hoses, motors, valves, connections, and fittings.

  • Working knowledge of transferring liquids and gases from large bulk tanks, ISO's, and containers to cylinders and storage tanks.

  • Working knowledge of preventative maintenance techniques.

  • Working experience in electrical, plumbing, welding (MIG, Brazing), boilers (steam), and air systems.

  • Fabrication ability.

  • Problem diagnoses and solving ability.

  • College courses completed in a related area, or skilled tradesman training is desirable.

  • Experience with pressurized liquefied gas systems and EPA 608 Certification preferred.

  • Computer literate with Excel, Word, and Outlook and knowledge of maintenance tracking systems preferred.
