Oneida County - Labor Relations/Employee Services Female Corrections Officer in Rhinelander, Michigan

Oneida County is accepting applications for a full-time Corrections Officer position with the Oneida County Sheriff's Office.  Female candidates preferred for this position as a bona fide occupational qualification in compliance with Sec. 302.41, Wis. Stats.  *No previous experience or post high school education required.   *

 

Position includes an excellent benefit package including enrollment in the Wisconsin Retirement System, health, dental and vision insurance, short-term disability coverage and generous PTO (Paid Time Off) with the ability to carry over unused hours into future years.  The 2023 starting wage is $23.90 per hour with potential for performance and cost of living wage increases.
