Copeland Senior Supply Chain Analyst in REYNOSA TAMAULIPAS, Mexico

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Support the different areas of the Copeland plants and facilities, exceeding the parameters of a strong Supply chain.

Lead the Logistics for the Copeland plants.

Ensure inbound and outbound truck capacity for the Copeland facilities in the US and Mexico, by creating a mix of carriers with a good performance (OTD) and maximizing the usage of the best contracted rates, result of the Annual Truckload Bid.

Train the Copeland users and pursue the daily usage of the Oracle Transportation Management system for optimized planning and post-activities with the carriers and CASS.

Plan and coordinate the Door-To-Door shipments in Heavy haul equipment going to Saltillo, through Laredo, TX.

Identify high volume suppliers to be trained in the Supply Chain Optimization portal for shipment booking.

Work with the carriers on delayed shipments to develop recovery plans to meet the on-time delivery dates to customers.

Prepare the Month End report with the Finance departments.

Enforce Logistics policy at the site level (MX and US).

Audit CASS logistics invoices to ensure accuracy.

Support the AOE and CTPAT committees in Reynosa, and Saltillo in the future.

Work with customers to maintain in rotation the returnable packaging.

Participate in the America and North America Logistics meetings from Corporate.

Work in parallel with the plants in Mexico and carriers (TL and LTL), identifying opportunity areas, contingency plans focused on solving issues.

Work with the Trade Compliance Manager and Specialist to assign correct HTS codes on imports.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Bachelor of Business Administration or in a field related to the job,

Minimum 5 years in logistics, supply chain or transportation management

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Excellent interpersonal communication skills are essential. Appropriate language skills for a proper communication with the North America logistics team and local plant personnel.

Project management skills including analytical and problem-solving .
