Eaton’s IS VEH EMB division is currently seeking a Sr Test Equipment (MES) Engineer.

What you’ll do:

Eaton’s eMobility is seeking a Sr Test Equipment (MES) Engineering in Reynosa Mexico

Primary Function:

Responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of MES (Manufacturing Execution System) solutions specific to manufacturing operations. They bridge the gap between technology and manufacturing processes, leveraging data-driven insights to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and maximize productivity. Participates in requirements analysis, design reviews and other team development processes to facilitate rapid deployment. LI-DG2

Essential Functions:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to plan and execute MES projects.

  • Lead the technical development, sustaining and improvement of the MES in the operations considering Eaton recipes for i4.0.

  • Develop and implement new MES applications for new process and products in accordance with Eaton Global standards (i4.0 Solutions).

  • Support the launch of new product lines following a stage-gate process (i.e., PROLaunch, an APQP like process) by completing the deliveries associated to MES.

  • Developing MES strategies and procedures for both prototypes and production manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

Basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering: Computer Systems Engineering, Electronics or Mechatronic.

  • C, C#, HTML, SQL programming language, environment visual studio WPF .NET/.NET CORE, RestAPI. (MUST)

  • More than 3 years of Experience developing and implementing new MES.

  • Working knowledge of WEB Page, Production Dashboards (Power BI), Rest API.

  • Knowledgeable in software tools (C compilers, programming environments, programming stations, serial data networks).

  • Ability to speak conversational and technical English language.

  • Creating and maintaining MES Procedures and documentation

Skills:

  • 3+ years on experience in MES development in the Automotive Industry.

  • Experience on software integration to automated manufacturing and test equipment.

  • Capacity to develop and improve the “software” applications.

  • Proven ability to complete projects on time and on budget.

  • Experienced in New Product Introduction/Industrialization
