JOB TITLE: Logistics Supervisor


SUPERVISOR: Supply Chain Manager

DEPARTMENT: Logistic / Receiving LOCATION: RCC

  1. Purpose of Position.

  2. Coordinate and provide front line supervision of all activities in the logistic area through assigned personnel on receipt, transfers, shipping and inventory accuracy within Receiving / Shipping / Warehouse in RCC.

  3. Mention the major responsibilities and tasks of the position.

  4. On a daily basis plans and coordinates work activities for material handler, clerk or any personnel assigned in the area.

  5. Assigns personnel to off load in a timely manner all incoming material and routes accordingly within facility.

  6. Coordinates distribution of MRO items to customers throughout the facility in an expeditiously manner.

  7. Assure raw material components are picked and delivered to Manufacturing areas without production interruptions.

  8. Maintains accurate inventory through supporting cycle count program to meet department goals.

  9. Performs area inspections and audits as required to ensure housekeeping and safety violations are non existent.

  10. Coordinates the shipping process (internal and external) in a timely manner to comply with the ship dates that affect OTP.

  11. List the two most complex decisions indicative of this function and its impact to the function, department and/or corporation.

  12. Coordinate based on production / planning needs dispatch of materials as required.

  13. Coordinate shipments based on the planning schedule as required.

  14. Uncoordinated dispatches will cause production interruptions to plant.

  15. Unable to maintain support program requirements as required will create inventory discrepancies, impacting production

6. Minimum Knowledge and Skill Requirements.

A. Education.

  • Bachelor’s degree

B. Work Experience.

  • 2 year receiving/stockrooms/shipping/warehouse administrative or supervisory experience.

  • SAP knowledge

  • C-TPAT, NEEC and safety culture

C. Additional Skills.

  • Fully bilingual

  • Microsoft office

  • Lean and PCPD culture

7. Extraordinary Activities.

  • Contribute and participate in Internal and External Audits in department, as well as being responsible for the good results of such. Some examples of Audits are: ISO, TL, 5's, Safety, Sarbox, among others.
