ASRC Federal Holding Company System Administrator - Remote in RESTON, Virginia

ASRC Federal is seeking a System Administrator to support our ICAM contract with the Department of Homeland Security. The successful candidate will provide operations and maintenance support for various IT systems and applications as part of the Operations support team.

  • Provide system support and 24/7 on call Tier 2 help desk support to ensure ongoing integrity, performance, uptime and availability of each service/application.

  • Provide corrective and preventive maintenance on all technical components including security vulnerability, change and patch management, and emergency fixes.

  • Ability to conduct root cause analysis for production issues and document the steps taken to fix the problem using the Government approved problem management template in ServiceNow

  • Support and evaluate new patches and upgrades to the services along with testing upgrades and patches in a lower environment and deploy to production as required

  • Help resolve customer issues by tracking of overdue work items, approvals, certifications, and outstanding actions, Issue identification and resolution

  • Support the resolution of system outages by serving as the first line of support. Join troubleshooting bridges when the need arises to provide support and track actions needed from management

  • Experience writing technical documentation and SOPs.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Requirements :

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and five 5 years demonstrated technical experience in tiered support organizations

  • Working knowledge Microsoft systems and Azure, Active Directory (AD), AD Federation Services (ADFS), Azure AD, AWS

  • Ability to work with Active Directory, Jira, Confluence and ServiceNow.

  • Knowledge of SailPoint IdentityIQ, Radiant Logic systems, preferred

  • Exceptional analytical and technical aptitude

  • Ability to work independently, think strategically and proven diagnostic ability are critical

  • RHEL experience is a plus
