ICF Solutions Architect in Reston, Virginia

Description

We are looking for a Solution Architect who will lead the solutioning for large and complex federal proposals. You will be responsible for defining the total solution (people, process, and tools) that meets the customer's needs and aligns with our capabilities. You will work closely with the capture manager, proposal manager, technical writers, and subject matter experts to create a compelling and compliant proposal.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze the solicitation requirements and develop a solution architecture that addresses the technical, management, and staffing aspects of the proposal.

  • Coordinate with the capture manager, proposal manager, and other stakeholders to ensure the solution is consistent with the win strategy, themes, and discriminators.

  • Lead the development of solution artifacts, such as white papers, concept of operations, architecture diagrams, technical volumes, and staffing plans.

  • Review and provide feedback on the proposal content, ensuring it is clear, concise, and compliant with the solicitation.

  • Present and defend the solution to internal and external reviewers, including senior management and customers.

  • Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the federal market and the solution domain.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in delivering technical services for federal contracts, preferably in the domains of cloud, cybersecurity, data analytics, or digital transformation.

  • A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in leading the solutioning efforts for large complex federal proposals.

  • Strong knowledge of the federal acquisition process, proposal development lifecycle, and evaluation criteria.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:

$112,513.00 - $191,273.00
