  • We are seeking a Software Engineer to support its federal client in Northern VA. The ideal candidate:

  • Designing, developing, and modifying applications using Java.

  • Designing software or customizing software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.

  • Providing the operations and maintenance of operational systems.

  • Installing, managing, and securing Linux systems.

  • Updating data in a RDBMS and creating and modifying stored procedures.

  • Modifying existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.

  • Develop software system testing and validation procedures.

  • Documenting code, user guides, user stories, and other references.

Knowledge of:

-Agile processes and procedures - SAFe, Scrum

-Google Web Toolkit

-Visual Basic

-Oracle or other RDBMS

-A&A process and providing support
