Siemens Government Technologies (SGT) is a dynamic and rapidly changing organization and we are seeking a self-driven individual to complement our growing team.

SGT Infrastructure & Energy Solutions is looking for a Construction Program Manger to drive construction projects to closure by working with our customers; our internal engineering team; supply chain; and our legal and contracts department. The successful candidate will work across multiple programs and interact with the US Army Corps of Engineers, GoCo sites, The US Navy the US Air Force and other federal agencies. We are especially interested in your ability to drive execution and gain final acceptance on construction activities.

You will be responsible for the strategic business objectives contributing to the goals of SGT organization.

Responsibilities

•Close out multiple ESPC projects nearing completion of their construction phase.

•Build out new funded area of focus including microgrids, EV chargers and building control systems.

•Interact with US Government Program Managers, Contracts Directors, Key Stakeholders and Legal Representatives to move projects forward.

•Work closely with SGT Program Managers, Contracts and Legal staff to ensure contract compliance and on-time project acceptance.

•Work closely with SGT and Subcontractor Engineering teams to solve technical issues.

•Develop and execute project goals, which include metrics associated with slip against schedule and budget, risk management, labor utilization, customer and employee satisfaction and management of quality plans.

•Provide monthly program revenue, profit, and staffing forecasts to SGT management. Drive results in these areas to meet the business goals.

•Coordinating the developing service contracts from past-performance projects and collaboration with Business Development

•Provide monthly updates to SGT management on work performed, plans, budget and overall project status.

•Show a strategic mindset to integrate services organization with solutions (construction) organization to allow for seamless post-installation delivery of managed services.

•Support the preparation of proposals, proposal work statements, staffing plans, and project scheduling.

•Develop existing talent as well as needed interview, hire, and manage a geographically dispersed team of personnel for current and future projects.

•Review and identify critical path and manage project dependencies for existing projects including implementation, timelines, issues, risks and successes.

•Establish project milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules.

•Identify project problems and create solutions such as re-allocating resources or changing contractual specifications.

•Direct the work of employees and/or subcontractors assigned to projects.

•Liaise with customers and external / internal project stakeholders on a continual basis.

•Build strategic and relationships with the customer and be seen as trusted advisor.

Required Qualifications

•Technical (Engineering, Construction Management etc) Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college.

•Minimum 15 years of increasing experience in engineering, Program Management and Leadership

•Experience managing mid to large size organizations across multiple locations.

•Experience with US Federal Government projects, contracts, policies, and procedures.

•Experience in Energy Projects and Construction Management

•Experience in identifying and implementing cost savings measures within projects.

•Leadership skills and proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams, including delivery and project management.

•Excellent written and verbal communications with the ability to present complex issues to multi-level audiences of company and government executives.

•Ability to effectively communicate progress, status, and issues to internal and external customers.

•Ability to obtain and meet Business goals and results.

•Must be focused on directing others in accountability, collaboration, effective communication, and have a strategic mindset that develops talent. All of these talents which ultimately drive results.

Highly Preferred Qualifications

•PMP Certification, with working knowledge of project management processes and tools.

•Microgrid and electrical distribution experience

•Ability to drive project adoption and expansion with Customers by establishing and executing Organizational Change Management plans.

•United States Citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S Government Security Clearance.
