SOS International LLC Program Manager in Reston, Virginia

Overview

SOSi is currently seeking a Program Manager to support a large, nationwide language services contract. The program supports our Homeland Security customer’s Field Offices and other locations throughout the country. The Program Manager will oversee all contractual, financial, staffing, quality and reporting obligations on this contract. The Program Manager will lead the PMO in supporting this nationwide contract, based in Reston, VA and travel throughout the US as required.

Essential Job Duties

  • Serve as the Program Manager supervising a small team of program management personnel at SOSI HQ, including a Deputy PM, two Regional Managers and a staff of security, recruiting, operations and invoicing professionals.

  • Provide support to our customer’s COR and KO.

  • Manage a very large transcription and translation enterprise, including transcription centers in a variety of locations around the country, to include VA, TX, UT, CO and CA.

  • Responsible for overall contract operations and shall be SOSi’s primary cost, schedule, and performance interface with the Government COR and KO.

  • Receive and execute technical taskings and work orders from the COR.

  • Manage operations to ensure all contractor staffing levels meet contract requirements, schedules are met, system resources are utilized effectively, and that proper relationships are established between the customers and the contractor management team.

  • Mentor supervisory personnel, providing guidance and advice in personnel matters.

  • Implement and facilitate continuous process improvements.

  • Coordinate resolution to personnel performance-related problems with Supervisory personnel with guidance from the COR.

  • This position is located in the NCR.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active, in-scope Secret clearance.

  • Minimum of seven (7) years managerial experience with the Department of Homeland Security or similar Government agencies required.

  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience with the Title III activities and interfacing with or managing the Title III life cycle is required.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required with master’s degree preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree is highly desirable, but not required.

  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification is highly desired.

  • Experience with HLT systems and current knowledge of trends in AI/ML integration with translation technologies is desirable.

Work Environment

  • Work will be at SOSI HQ in Reston, VA; with frequent travel to various field sites as required throughout the Base Year and all Option Years.
