SOS International LLC Program Manager in Reston, Virginia

Overview

SOSi is currently seeking a Program Manager to support a large language services contract. The program supports the Drug Enforcement Administration nationwide in providing linguistic support to lawful intercept activities. The Program Manager will oversee linguist personnel in the West Region initially, moving to nationwide coverage in subsequent Option Years.

Essential Job Duties

  • Serves as the Program Manager supervising a small team of program management personnel at SOSI HQ and Supervisors across the country that manage the linguist workforce in multiple CONUS DEA locations.

  • Provide support to the DEA COR and KO.

  • Responsible for overall contract operations and shall be SOSi’s primary cost, schedule, and performance interface with the Government COR and KO.

  • Receive and execute technical taskings from the COR.

  • Manage operations to ensure linguist staffing levels meet contract requirements, schedules are met, system resources are utilized effectively, and that proper relationships are established between the customers and the contractor management team.

  • Mentor Deputy and Regional Managers, as well as On-Site Supervisors and Leads, providing guidance and advice in personnel matters.

  • Implement and facilitate continuous process improvements.

  • Coordinate resolutions to linguist performance-related problems with Regional Managers and On-Site Managers with guidance from the COR.

  • This position is located near Reston, VA.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active, in-scope Secret clearance.

  • Minimum of seven (10) years managerial experience within DEA or equivalent Government agencies required.

  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience with the Title 3 activities and interfacing with or managing the Title 3 life cycle is required.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required with master’s degree preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree is highly desirable, but not required.

  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification is highly desired.

  • Experience with HLT systems and current knowledge of trends in AI/ML integration with translation technologies is desirable.

Work Environment

  • Work will be at SOSI HQ in Reston, VA; with frequent travel to the West Region areas during Base Year. Nationwide travel will be required in the Option Years as scope expands
