ICF Microsoft Power Apps Developer - Remote in Reston, Virginia
Description
We are open to supporting 100% remote work anywhere within the continental US.
ICF’s Digital Modernization Division is seeking a skilled Power Apps Developer to join our team to create custom business applications using the Microsoft Power Apps platform. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, and customizing applications to address specific business needs and streamline processes. As a Power Apps Developer, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into efficient and user-friendly applications.
The Work:
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) seeks a qualified contractor to support Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC), Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS). USDA FPAC to develop, enhance, maintain and support USDA O365 environment. This includes support on current tools and add additional NRCS states, New O365 tools, data migration support, and End-user training.
The primary goal of USDA is to enhance transparency, optimize workflow, and enable adaptability to accommodate organizational differences in support of various business operations, existing tools and accommodate new tools in future as required. Some of the existing tools are:
Quality Assurance Reviews (QAR)
Conservation Projects/Investments (PI).
Purchases of Goods and Services (PGS)
Further USDA uses reports and dashboards to analyze and/or export data within O365. USDA plans to enhance these tools and introduce as required by identifying relevant improvement in USDA’s processes.
Responsibilities:
Develop and customize business applications using Microsoft Power Apps.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for application development.
Design and implement user-friendly interfaces and ensure a positive user experience.
Integrate Power Apps with other Microsoft services, databases, and external data sources.
Create and configure data models, forms, and workflows within Power Apps.
Implement security measures to protect sensitive data within applications.
Test and debug applications, resolving issues and ensuring smooth functionality.
Automate workflows and business processes using Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow).
Deploy applications to production environments and manage version control.
Provide training and support to end-users as needed.
Stay updated with the latest features and capabilities of the Power Apps platform.
Based on your experiences and interests, we may ask you as a technology professional to support growth-related activities, including (but not limited to) RFI, RFP, prototypes, and oral presentations.
Team members are also expected to uphold and maintain appropriate certifications necessary for their practice expertise.
Basic Qualifications :
Due to federal contract, candidate must have been US Citizen or Green Card holder for 3 or more years.
Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
MUST RESIDE IN THE United States (U.S.) and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S.), as this work is for a federal contract and laws do apply.
3+ years of experience in developing applications using Microsoft Power Apps
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Strong understanding of low-code/no-code development principles.
Proficiency in designing user interfaces and creating a positive user experience.
Knowledge of data integration, data modeling, and database design.
Experience with Power Automate for workflow automation is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:
$68,325.00 - $116,152.00
