*Summary *    

As a Knowledge Technology Analyst (KTA), you will be responsible for providing technical support, guidance, and development work as it relates to complex content integration efforts in support of the Knowledge Department. This includes solutions for the department’s intranet pages or vendor-licensed platforms. In addition, you will also provide timely reporting solutions using the department’s business intelligence application(s) for tracking usage statistics, data mining, and other reporting requirements/applications. You will also coordinate with management, consultants, and IT to ensure the department’s BI tool(s) are functioning optimally. Further, you will serve as a point of contact for technical issues as it relates to the department’s intranet pages and applications supported by the department’s BI tools, and as a backup to the Knowledge Department’s other teams in troubleshooting issues with certain vendor platforms (SydneyEnterprise, Quest). The KTA is also available to support other projects and tasks as requested by management.

This position can be remote. 

   

Responsibilities   

  • Provides administrative oversight and support for the Knowledge Department intranet pages (including design, implementation and maintenance of pages and related content).

  • Works with management team and consulting firm to maintain Qlik Sense deployment for department/firm; this includes developing apps in Qlik Sense for tracking usage, data mining projects, reporting, alerts, and other tools.

  • Develops limited front-end tools/solutions, guidance and strategies that solve complex content integration (aggregate information from a wide variety of sources for use by the department or firm staff (e.g. interactive forms, search, vendor widgets/platforms)).

  • Responsible for generating reports and statistics for management team as it relates to Quest Request Management System or vendor platforms in Qlik Sense or other tools (Excel, R Studio).

  • Provides technical support as it relates to Qlik Sense, Fusion pages, tools developed by the Knowledge Technology Analyst and also as a backup to the Technical Services Team (as needed).

  • Perform other tasks as requested or assigned.

Desired Skills    

Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly present complex data and instructions to varying audiences. Must have a solid background in technical support (e.g., working with end users, IT and vendors to resolve issues.) Must be creative, flexible, capable of solving complex problems, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a larger diverse team. Project management skills required with ability to work independently or with a team with short lead times. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  

Minimum Education    

  • High School or GED 

Preferred Education

  • 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree in related field. 

Minimum Years of Experience   

  • 3 years’ experience in a technical role supporting a (legal) research or knowledge management department. Extensive knowledge of research and/or KM technologies (preferably in a legal environment but not required), tools, and processes. Experience working in Intapp or similar database as well as experience in a technical role at a law firm or legal software company preferred. An understanding of SQL, XML, JSON and REST APIs desirable

Physical Demands    

Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

The expected annual pay range for this position, if hired to work in New York City is $90,589 - $134,755 per year. If hired to work in San Francisco or Palo Alto the expected annual pay range is $94,528 - $140,614 per year. If hired to work in San Diego, Seattle, Los Angeles, or Washington, D.C. the expected annual pay range is $86,650 - $128,896 per year. The compensation offered to a candidate selected for employment will be dependent upon various factors, including the candidate’s geographic market, skills, educational and professional background, experience, and overall qualifications. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k).
