Job Title: Human Resources Specialist II

Job Summary:

Elevate your career by joining the Defense Intelligence Agency's Central Processing Center as a Human Resources Specialist II, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's workforce while enjoying the benefits of a supportive environment and comprehensive compensation package offered by FedWriters.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Inputting required data into DIA's Human Resources Management System and the CPC SharePoint scheduler

  • Contacting and scheduling candidates for pre-employment processing

  • Communicating with candidates to provide necessary correspondence in support of the onboarding process

  • Provide support services to the Office of Human Resources (OHR)'s programs and projects

  • Collecting and reviewing of OHR documentation for CPC scheduling

  • Filing electronic files into shared folders

  • Updating candidates' records in all required OHR tracking/scheduling/management systems

  • Managing of shared inboxes on UNCLASSIFIED Systems

  • Escorting and briefing candidates during on-site appointments

  • Coordinating and collaborating with other directorates to schedule CPC appointments for incoming candidates

  • Providing weekly CPC onboarding performance metrics reports

  • Maintaining standard operating procedures for CPC pre-employment processes

  • Developing training documentation for OHR systems and/or SOPs

  • Coordinating/scheduling with OSG Drug Testing Program for civilian applicants

  • Providing travel support, to include Defense Travel System (DTS) authorizations, vouchers, invitational travel orders, temporary duty arrangements, and processing of travel related requests/services

    Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Associate's Degree in Business or Science

  • A combination of education and experience may be substituted for a degree

  • 3+ years of relevant experience

  • TS/SCI clearance with a CI poly

  • Knowledge of SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task and be flexible in a dynamic work environment

    Work Setting and Environment:

  • Monday - Friday, normal working hours

  • Work is to be performed at DIA facilities at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, DC
