Leidos Full Stack Developer - TS/SCI with Polygraph in Reston, Virginia

Description

We have an immediate need for a Full Stack Developer to provide Agile DevOps support to mission critical systems. As a Full Stack Developer on this program, you will have the opportunity to build strong systems, software, and cloud environments and provide operations and maintenance for critical systems.

The selected candidate will provide technical expertise and support in the design, development, implementation and testing of customer tools and applications, participate in and/or direct major deliverables of projects through all aspects of the software development lifecycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding and unit testing

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Participate in software programming initiatives to support innovation and enhancement, using some or all of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, Java, Python, and C#

  • Develop and integrate custom software solutions to leverage automated deployment technologies

  • Develop, prototype and deploy solutions within Commercial Cloud Solutions leveraging Infrastructure platform services

  • Coordinate closely with team members, Product Owners and Scrum Masters to ensure User Story alignment and implementation to customer use cases

  • Analyze and effectively coordinate Infrastructure needs driven by software architecture to meet customer mission needs

  • Support the Agile software development lifecycle practices, while understanding that customers and decision makers may still “think” in Waterfall, and be comfortable bridging that gap

  • Use industry leading DevOps tools like GitLab, Docker, and Kubernetes

  • Document and perform systems software development, including deployment of build artifacts using CI/DC pipelines

  • Communicate key project data to team members and build team cohesion and effectiveness

  • Leverage Atlassian tool suite like JIRA and Confluence to track activities

  • Apply and identify best practices and standard operating procedures

  • Create innovative solutions to meet the technical needs of customers

Required Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with eligibility for CI Polygraph is required. Current/active CI polygraph is strongly preferred but we have the ability to hire at the TS/SCI level for otherwise qualified candidates who are willing and able to complete a polygraph post-hire.

  • Bachelors degree with 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters degree with 2+ of prior relevant experience. Additional years of experience can be accepted in lieu of a degree.

  • Awareness of industry trends in AI (Large Language Models, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, etc.)

  • Experience with common Agile practices, service-orientated environments, and development practices

  • Experience with Python, JavaScript

  • Experience in the software development lifecycle, with experience delivering within DevOps toolsets/practices

  • Experience utilizing software testing performance tools

  • Experience working in an Agile development environment and tempo

  • Experience with development in Commercial Cloud Platforms (ex, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)

  • Experience with development leveraging cloud data services (ex: S3, RDS, EFS)

  • Well versed with using version control systems

  • Well versed with using issue/problem tracking systems

Preferred Qualifications and Key Skills for Success:

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Experience working AI projects (personal or professional)

  • Experience working on the customer's systems

  • Understanding of the customer's system development policies

  • Experience with structured analysis and design methodologies

Pay Range:

Pay Range $81,250.00 - $146,875.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
