Providence is calling a Student Intern, Cyber Security who will: Perform an assortment of entry-level tasks for the greater benefit of the Providence Washington Information Services Organization Document desktop or network configuration information Create Microsoft Word and Excel documents Create Visio documents Install software on PC's Assist with the deployment of desktop devices Assist other IS staff in performing related project tasks Support basic cyber security duties Please note the following important details regarding this role: We welcome remote work for residents who live within a daily commutable distance of our office location listed below: Washington: Renton This role is a full-time temporary non-benefitted role This role is intended to be a summer position for a current college student or high school student that is college bound The successful applicant for this position will be employed for a duration of time during the Summer of 2024 The program will last approximately 12 weeks and is anticipated to end around 8/30/2024, however, this may change based upon an actual start date for the role and department needs This role will require an in-office presence 1-2 times per month as defined by manager and departmental needs Required qualifications for this position include: Coursework/Training: Acceptance to, or current enrollment in, a four-year college or university Coursework/Training: A course of technical study that exposes applicants to PC administration with Microsoft Office application experience No actual work experience in an IS environment is required Previous employment should demonstrate progressively responsible job duties Why Join Providence?
