Requisition Summary This position leads a Strategic Business Unit within Product Marketing, with revenue between $250 - $450 million. As Product Director, you will own the strategy and execution for products that significantly impact the entire company, including identifying market requirements, managing product offerings, communicating programs to dealers and internal PACCAR Parts sales force, and establishing and maintaining close, collaborative supplier relationships. The Product Director drives strategy determining distribution and pricing actions, and develops creative promotion and advertising plans to achieve profit and sales objectives. Job Functions / Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of specific objectives and business plans to grow sales and increase gross margin. Promote product offerings to customers to enhance sales and take market share. Communicate scope of offering, branding, distribution and pricing strategies for each market. Manage other elements of new and existing global product programs. Manage close, collaborative supplier relationships so that requirements for doing business with PACCAR Parts are met. Collaborate with Marketing Services in developing creative, key marketing support elements for product groups including dealer communication, promotional plans, dealer direct marketing events, product sales training cataloging, and other program support as required. Partner with aftermarket Purchasing and suppliers to negotiate cost reduction and program support elements of PACCAR Long Term Agreements including financial support for marketing, new Kenworth/Peterbilt dealer and TRP stores, systems and sales programs. Qualifications Degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration or related field required. MBA highly desired. 7+ years' experience in a commercial role. Three years' experience in a leadership role. Demonstrated ability to meet objectives that support division sales and profit goals while maintaining exceptional customer service. Proven ability to work in a team-oriented, multi-functional business environment with demonstrated leadership skills. Must possess the ability to motivate and develop employees. Knowledge of truck components, aftermarket sales, parts distribution or engineering concepts. Strong analysis, communication, negotiation and project management skills. Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are essential. Must have excellent presentation skills. Six Sigma Belt with DFSS experience desired. Must be able to travel up to 50%.
