About the Team PACCAR's Information Technology Division (ITD) is the central division for PACCAR focused on delivering world class IT solutions. The Sales Tool Platform team is at the forefront of PACCAR's truck sale efforts, supporting industry leading sales tool to spec new customer unit for North America and Australia market. Working as a member of a cross-divisional team of subject matter experts, you will help to shape PACCAR's ability to respond to an ever-evolving sales landscape. Job Responsibilities & Projects * The intern will work closely with their mentor throughout the duration of the internship * Design and Develop new features for customer facing software application * Gain intensive hands on experience in Design, Implement, Test and Ship production ready software solution * Learn and apply Agile Software Development methods and techniques * Opportunity to work with senior developers on industry leading sales tool and apply engineering and architectural practices, principles, and patterns * The intern will have a development plan designed to introduce and teach them the key skills needed to be a successful in their internship Required Experience & Skills * 2 - 3 years of college experience, preferably in Computer Science or related field * Programming knowledge/skills in the following technology, but not limited to: o C# and JavaScript o JSON, YAML, and XML o RESTful API o .NET MVC o WPF o MS SQL o HTML * Strong problem solving and communication skills with positive attitude * Embodies and promotes PACCAR ITD values of Teamwork, Continuous Improvement, Commitment, Openness and Learning * Software development coursework (C#, Java, etc.), required * Able to commit to a 12-week program throughout summer Education * Currently pursuing Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
