Description DEPARTMENT: SOCIAL SERVICES POSITION TITLE: Client Services Coordinator STATUS: Non-Exempt, Full-time 40 hours. $20.50 General Statement: The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: Successfully obtained experience working with diverse population groups. Minimum 1 year of experience in one or more of the following fields: case management, financial assistance experience, eviction prevention, and programs. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Detail-oriented and attention to detail Self-starter Team player Fluent in English and Spanish languages in verbal and written communication Excellent telephone skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain pulse under pressure. Customer service mindset Proficient data entry skills General knowledge of business protocols Ability and willingness to keep information confidential Maintain a valid WA state driver's license SOFTWARE-RELATED SKILLS: Microsoft Word and Excel, Outlook Required Microsoft Publisher helpful Knowledge of integrated database applications and ability to use new software programs with basic training. SCOPE OF POSITION: Conduct initial assessments of individuals seeking program assistance Assess and refer clients for the Pathway of Hope case management program Using program guidelines completes intakes of clients based on eligibility If available, Provide financial assistance, and the client meets eligibility requirements for rental and/or utility assistance. Create and update client files as needed, maintain files, and ensure all necessary documentation is included. Enters client data and case notes into T.S.A programs such as Wellsky and Angel Tree within TSAMM Generate reports as needed, including monthly reports and statistics, in a timely manner. Collects client demographic information needed for program reporting. Assist as directed with seasonal social services, including but not limited to social services, summer camp signups and logistics, back-to-school programs, Angel Tree, toy and Joy, adopt and Family, etc. Drive and pick up of items related to social services, including baby corner, in-kind donations, and other items as requested. Attend community meetings and network with other community partners upon approval of supervisor and corps officers. All other duties as assigned.
