We are continuing to grow! We are currently accepting applications for an upcoming Final Assembler (1st Shift) need at our Renton location. Assembler II Locations: Renton, WA Job Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt Schedule: 4, 10-hour shifts per week! Pay: $22.00/hr - $26.00/hr Position As an Assembler II, you will perform according to takt time on a moving line or bench, performing finish assembly processes to mass-produce commercial aircraft composite products. Final Assembler will: Follow job traveler instructions to assemble parts using small hand tools, bonding adhesives and assembly jigs. Hand wraps insulation blankets, using utility knives, foam insulation, and insulation tape. Performs light sanding and abrading of composite, plastic, and some metal components. May perform some light riveting using rivet squeezes and pop rivet guns. Preferred Qualifications: Fine hand motor skills. Strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skill both written and verbal. Self- motivated and quick learner. Basic math skills. Understanding of process specifications. Computer Skills Understanding of technology with the ability to learn new platforms and systems. Working Conditions While performing typical duties of this job, production employees will experience the conditions noted below. PPE is provided to protect employees against physical harm or hazards in the workplace environment. Usually work indoors. These sites may not be temperature-controlled. Exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels. Exposure to hazardous equipment. Exposure to contaminants. Shared workspaces with other employees. Requires handing objects of up to 50 lbs. Lifting pushing, pulling, and bending. Standing and/or walking for 8 to 12 or more hours per day (varies based on role, shift and overtime).
