SUMMARY:

The

Slot Assistant Shift Manager

helps to supervise slot floor operation during assigned shift while providing friendly and courteous guest service.

MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Overall knowledge of Slot Operations
  • College or technical school training desirable
  • Prior supervisory or team leader experience
  • Related mechanical or electronic repair.
  • Friendly and outgoing with great guest service skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
  • Good leadership skills
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Nevada gaming license.
  • Money handling experience preferred.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • General management of the Slot Department during assigned shift
  • Ensure that guest service standards are met.
  • Safeguard assets within the Slot Department
  • Enforce policies and procedures of the company and of the department.
  • Enforce gaming regulations including system of the internal control.
  • Authorize slot fills, hopper loads and jackpot payouts.
  • Train, develop, schedule, and evaluate Slot floor personnel.
  • Coach and counsel employees to ensure standards are met.
  • Keep employee records.
  • Host guests.
