Eaton Corporation Shipping and Receiving Clerk - Loader in Reno, Nevada

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk - Loader. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. The rate for this position is $26.25 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based on candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

In this function, you will:

• Perform receiving functions on all inbound freight, including verification and data entry

• Load and unload trucks while working safely with delivery drivers

• Cross-trainable in Shipping and Receiving

• Responsible for adherence to receiving procedures

• Timely and accurate distribution of products to designated locations

• Enters data into computer software system

• Maintains housekeeping to keep work areas clean, safe and hazard-free

• Other Receiving and/or Shipping duties as assigned to maintain an efficient workflow throughout the facility

• Adhere to company policies (i.e. Attendance Policy)

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be forklift certified

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Reno, NV will be considered. Active-duty military member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP Knowledge

• Crane Certified

• Ability to utilize a staple gun, bander, nail gun, and carton closer.

• Fine manipulation of hands with repetitive motion.

• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure.

• Must be able to work overtime with short notice.

Physical Demands:

• Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift

• Able to regularly lift 35 pounds with or without accommodations.

• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by company policy and procedure

• Exposure to high noise levels (ear protection may be required in some areas)

• Exposure to high-traffic areas with forklift activity

• Indoor and outdoor exposure to weather
