Job Summary

Position is eligible for $750 sign on bonusafter successful completion of background check and drug screen*

We are seeking an experiencedResearch Technician Assistantfor our Safety Assessment site located inReno, Nevada.

As aResearch Technician Assistant,you will have the opportunity to care for all species of animals at our state-of-the-art safety sites. You will learn new skills ranging from animal care and handling of laboratory animals, perform clinical observations, blood collection, drug dosing, and perform accurate data collection and reporting.

The following are minimum requirements related to theResearch Technician Assistantposition.

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.)

  • 0-6 months related experience in animal research and/or husbandry preferred.

  • Ability to handle common laboratory animal species.

  • Basic knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice regulations preferred.

About Safety Assessment

Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance.
