SAIC Flutter Developer Senior in REMOTE WORK, Virginia

Description

SAIC is currently seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Flutter Developer Senior to join our team to begin an exciting and challenging career. The right candidate will bring an interest in applying his or her talents to national and homeland security problems. The Flutter based Mobile App Developer will design, develop, and implement Flutter Apps and Plugins for Android and iOS to support business requirements/logic.

*Position onsite 1 day a week in Ashburn, VA*

Job Responsibilities

  • Follow life cycle methodologies and develop/unit test Flutter Apps, Widgets and Plugins using Dart as part of an enterprise cross-platform mobile team.

  • Resolve technical issues through debugging, analysis, research and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Support building and distributing iOS and Android mobile apps through a general understanding of CI/CD pipelines for mobile development and deployment.

  • Work with users in an Agile development approach to understand and document requirements in JIRA, then elicit feedback and refine solution through demonstrations.

  • Present solutions at formal and informal design reviews and document the design according to the Government's system lifecycle methodology.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related engineering field with 9+ years of technical experience

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust (Requires U.S. Citizenship)

  • Proven experience as a Flutter developer with good portfolio of mobile apps developed using Flutter framework.

  • Proficiency in the Dart programming language

  • Swift

  • Java (Android)

  • Experience developing Plugins for Flutter Apps

  • Some experience with the React Native framework

Desired

  • Understanding Mobile app design principles and UI/UX best practices

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

  • Strong initiative: must be able to take a high-level requirement, ask questions/seek clarifications, and get the job done

  • Good written/oral communication skills and problem-solving skills; ability to communicate information to a variety of groups at different technical skill levels

  • Experience working in high velocity, fast paced teams and environments

  • Experience working individually and collaboratively in response to changing mission needs or requirements

Target salary range: $165,001 - $175,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
