Shuvel Digital Senior .NET Developer-11656-Remote in Remote, Virginia

BASIC PURPOSE: To work closely with the Product Owner to prioritize and lead delivery of new and existing solutions that align with business initiatives and corporate strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate as primary resource for a project team. Will be assigned activities by the Technical Owner and liaise with the project team, and principal engineer regarding the project.

  • Assist with testing, identifying compatibility gaps, and working with the involved teams to discuss solutions.

  • Accountable for completion of assigned deliverables, milestones, and reporting on iteration or task progress.

  • Exhibit behaviors of a highly skilled problem solver.

  • Ensure technology and service delivery roadmap support the solution strategy.

  • Collaborate with Product Owner, customers, developers, and project team to identify and clarify scope of problems/issues in terms of business/systems requirements and processes.

  • Support the team's efforts to continuously improve communications and relationships with other delivery teams.

  • Engage in challenging the old norms of development to improve performance in the areas of quality, predictability, flow, and velocity.

  • Support software development teams in applying the Scrum framework.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED

  • Strong experience with .NET development

  • Strong experience with Cloud development

  • Experience with virtualization (Citrix)

  • Financial industry experience/knowledge

  • Experience and knowledge working on project to convert software to run in a virtualized environment.

  • Ability to determine what products and equipment will and won't work with software in a virtualized environment.

  • Ability to identify solutions to resolve products that will not work within a virtualized environment.

  • Experience working on projects following a Waterfall methodology.

  • Experience supporting discovery/analysis phases of projects.

  • Strong investigation and trouble shooting skills.

  • Proven ability supporting project plans.

DESIRED

  • Pre-existing experience developing or using Encore Teller System software.

  • Experience working on projects following an Agile methodology.

Work Days: Monday-Friday (Flex time available)

Work Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time

Employee may be required to work outside normal working hours to provide technical support during product implementation or product support efforts
