MPF Federal, LLC Subject Matter Expert - Schedule Risk Analyst in Remote, United States

MPF Federal is seeking a highly knowledgeable and experienced Schedule Risk Analyst (SRA) Dedicated Specialist focusing on Earned Value Management (EVM) to lead the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of EVM/SRA training programs for Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition professionals. The SME will play a critical role in enhancing the EVM capabilities of DoD personnel, ensuring effective project cost and performance management in compliance with federal regulations and standards.

Ability to work a 4-month contract and available during core hours 9am-3pm EST.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Program Development: Design, develop, and update comprehensive EVM training curricula that align with the specific needs and requirements of DoD acquisition professionals. Create engaging learning materials, presentations, case studies, and assessments to facilitate effective knowledge transfer.

  • Instruction and Facilitation: Deliver high-quality EVM/SRA training sessions to DoD acquisition professionals, utilizing various teaching methods such as classroom lectures, workshops, webinars, and hands-on exercises. Adapt training methodologies to accommodate different learning styles and levels of expertise.

  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the primary resource for EVM-related inquiries, providing expert guidance and insights to DoD personnel. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in EVM/SRA practices, federal regulations, and industry trends, and integrate this knowledge into training content and delivery.

  • Customization and Tailoring: Analyze the unique requirements of different DoD projects and programs, and tailor EVM training content to address specific challenges and complexities. Collaborate with project teams to ensure that EVM principles are effectively applied within the DoD acquisition framework.

  • Evaluation and Assessment: Develop assessment methods to measure the effectiveness of EVM training programs. Collect feedback from participants, identify areas for improvement, and make necessary adjustments to enhance the quality and impact of training offerings.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and educational institutions, to exchange best practices, share knowledge, and ensure that the EVM training remains relevant and aligned with industry standards.

  • Regulatory Compliance to ensure that all EVM training materials and programs comply with relevant federal regulations, guidelines, and policies governing acquisition and project management within the DoD.

  • Documentation and reporting to maintain accurate records of training activities, participant feedback, and program outcomes. Prepare regular reports on training effectiveness, participation rates, and ongoing improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Master Scheduler or Risk Management.

  • 7+ years in Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA)

  • Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, training design, and adult learning methodologies and EVM tools.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with federal regulations and standards related to project management and acquisition, such as the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).

  • Proficiency in using relevant software tools for training development and delivery.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain any necessary security clearances required for working within the DoD environment.
