Position Overview:

We have an opportunity for a Technical Program Manager to join the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Group. You will be responsible for managing the development and implementation process of the Cloud Infrastructure product offering.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.

Candidate Profile:

  • 3+ years’ experience developing and implementing enterprise data center projects

  • 3+ years’ experience managing complex cross-group programs

  • Experience with large-scale data centers and a display a demonstrated ability to think broadly and strategically.

  • Experience managing projects in a Data Center environment (racking & stacking gear, cable management, hot & cold aisle containment)

  • Maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills

  • Work well with product managers to establish and maintain our roadmap, setting appropriate expectations and ensuring our product and services meet our high operational excellence standards

  • Experience with large datacenter environments. Build-outs, migrations, and scaling large datacenters a huge plus

  • Demonstrated ability to use sound judgment, negotiate with and influence multiple stakeholders, conduct analysis of complex problems and lead cross-functional teams towards a common goal.

  • Needs to work collaboratively with engineering and product teams to set appropriate expectations and contribute to high operational excellence standards.

BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 5 years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.
