Your Impact
The Sales Director – Americas OEM, will provide leadership and direction to a frontline sales team to lead a direct and indirect key account sales team. They will grow revenue at OEM accounts throughout the Americas, develop annual sales plans and growth bridges that align with Qualitrol’s strategic goals deployed to the territory level and drive bookings and growth in the Americas.
In this role you will
Coach, lead and appraise individual performance; constant performance improvement focus, applying Situational Leadership tool-box.
Promote employee engagement through clear, open communication, linking performance to sales strategy and company vision.
Partner with product development teams to provide sales insight and support for new product/project development through full lifecycle commercialization.
Collect and report information on all competitor activity, business opportunities, sales trends, market share, and results within the assigned market providing input during monthly business reviews.
Implement value selling principles, funnel management, key account management, and other business system tools.
Visit end-user customers alongside sales associates within the region to gain an understanding of customers.
Travel overnight frequently up to 50%.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA a plus.
8+ years of progressive sales leadership in a dynamic organization, consistently driving sales and revenue growth, customer expansion, and market share growth through the leadership of a sales organization.
Experience leading OEM and sales in a complex sales environment.
Ability to develop deep relationships with decision-makers that has resulted in sustained success with accounts.
Strong sales operations background in Funnel Management and driving specific goals using CRM.
Strong leadership with a hands-on, ‘get it done’ mentality, commitment to building engagement and developing future leaders for Qualitrol and Fortive, across a virtual sales team, while recruiting, retaining, and cultivating top sales talent.
Having both strategic and tactical capabilities and can analyze the market, competitors, and company strengths and weaknesses while devising successful sales strategies.
Experience with electric Utilities and OEM’s is preferred.

National: The salary range for this position (inclusive of sales incentives/commission) is $199,400- $370,200
Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
