As a Data Engineer, you will:

  • Automate data wrangling from a wide variety of sources (flat files, remote servers, databases, legacy systems, message queues, APIs and more)

  • Identify opportunities to improve system and business process efficiencies

  • Cleanse/transform data in preparation for all levels of analytical use

  • Leverage many technologies and methodologies as required—includes scripting and programming languages

  • Assist in the preparation, deployment, and maintenance of machine learning/artificial intelligence data pipelines

  • Work with vendors and consultants as appropriate.

  • Applies lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position.

Requirements:

  • At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering (design, develop and testing data pipelines.

  • Proficiency in IBM DataStage data integration tool

  • Demonstrated ability in developing, deploying, and maintaining data processes and data pipelines in Python.

  • 1+ years of experience in hybrid cloud environments

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to build and orchestrate code in numerous ways to support analytics deployment.

  • IBM Data Engineer certification is a plus

  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment

  • Effective project management and planning skills

  • Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)

  • Candidate must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer

Colorado Pay Range:

20 - 125/per Hour
