Credence Management Solutions, LLC Cyber Security SME in Remote, United States

Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking a Cyber Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide support to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) Program Management Office (PMO). This position will support and assist the PMO with Information Assurance/Cyber Security expertise to provide proper evaluation of the program's security posture for DoD Instruction 8510.01 RMF compliance, monitor system logs, perform vulnerability management activities, and perform IA technical research, analysis, and provide recommendations for cyber security incidents.

  • Experience performing at least two of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization (A&A) steps, specifically assessment and continuous monitoring activities.

  • Experience with vulnerability management, specifically with vulnerability scan report findings and mitigation plans.

  • Experience with developing security documents, such as system security plan, contingency plan, configuration management plan, and incident response plan.

  • Understanding of all Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization (A&A) steps.

  • Understanding of how National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST) publications and Committee on National Security Systems Instructions (CNSSI) are used, specifically Special Publication (SP) 800-37, SP 800-53, SP 800-13, Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) 199, FIPS 200, and CNSSI 1253.

  • Understanding of Security Requirement Guide (SRG) and/or Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) implementation and review.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with frequent change.

  • Clearance - Active NACI or Active Public Trust

  • Bachelor’s degree. Equivalent experience will be considered

  • 5+ years of related experience (i.e., eMASS experience, Nessus and/or Webinspect experience)

  • 3-5+ years of experience in Information Technology environments supporting DOD customers

  • DoD Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II: specifically, Security + CE, at a minimum
