Archive360, a Data Governance and Archive Company, is seeking a highly motivated and energetic team player to join our Federal Team as a contributing Sales Director working with channel and key accounts to grow our established Federal business.

Our cloud-based compliance offerings enable customers to reduce risk and comply with regulations governing the security, access, storage, retention, and disposition of data, including legal obligations, FOIA, eDiscovery and Records Management requirements. Archive360 delivers a highly scalable platform for migration and secured management of all data types. Archive360 solution include capabilities to institute data retirement with policy-based retention and disposition rules to meet regulatory and compliance obligations, while increasing data security and enabling AI (ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE) readiness for faster, informed business decisions.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Federal Sales Director to drive revenue and growth specifically focused on Public Sector clients. You will be responsible for developing, accelerating, selling, and closing business to Federal and State Agencies. Our successful sellers work to solve critical challenges facing our customer’s legal, governance and information management environment.

Responsibilities

  • Generate, track, and accurately forecast sales opportunities to targeted federal agencies.

  • Engage a programmatic approach to generate, develop, and expand your territory.

  • Communicate value propositions to clients and stakeholders that speak to their needs and requirements.

  • Update Salesforce and meet accurate forecasting requirements.

  • Employ all cross-functional resources to achieve your quota: lead development, sales architects and engineering, channel partners, field marketing, governance sales specialists, the services team, the executive team, and others.

  • Track industry news and trends, and report how they affect Archive360 products and services.

  • The Federal Director-Sales role works remotely from a home office setting and must be available to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory, including overnight.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications:

  • Experience working in Federal as contractor, employee, or salesperson.

  • Established track-record of selling to Government and understanding of procurement process.

  • Sound understanding of the structured data archiving and application retirement business.

  • Knowledge of structured sales techniques and expertise in identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities.

  • Preferable experience with IBM, Informatica, Open Text, or other archiving and information governance solutions.

  • 7 years of successful federal sales experience, hunter mentality, excellent exec briefing skills.

Strongly Desired Skills

  • Good business development skills, including responding to RFI’s, working with a variety of agencies and partners in the Federal space.

  • FSI sell-to experience with contacts in that community.

  • Cloud-based SAAS solutions and software sales experience.

  • Proficiency with Salesforce, GovWin and other Federal databases of opportunities.
