THE WORK YOU WILL DO:

As the Corporate Account Manager, you will own the top-down sales process for your assigned region including new prospects as well as the growth and retention of existing business.In more detail, you will:

  • Develop and manage Corporate to Corporate relationships at assigned prospects

  • Plan and execute sales strategies and campaigns at assigned prospects to introduce and/or expand our business

  • Protect existing business with solutions that fill customer needs and position PSSI as the top performer in the industry

  • Conduct periodic business reviews with customers while managing the P&L for each corporate account

  • Actively maintain a high level of product knowledge, sales skills, presentation skills, and time management

  • Professionally champion PSSI with corporate clients while upholding our core values

  • Work cross functionally to collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, Marketing, Sales Support, Operations, HR Centers of Excellence, Finance, and Legal Departments to ensure that effective solutions for customers are created and established goals are met

  • Special projects and other duties as assigned

YOUR MUST HAVES:

As a Corporate Account Manager, you must have both high initiative and energy, be an honest communicator like no other, and have mastered the art of tactful follow-up.In this role, we require:

  • An active Driver’s License and the ability to travel as needed

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

  • Proven to excel in presentation and analytical skills

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience selling B2B solutions, preferably in the Food Processing Industries

  • Due to the nature of this work, you must be 18 years of age or older to apply.

WHAT WE PREFER YOU HAVE:

Additional skills, qualities, or experience that would help you be successful in this role will include:

  • An independent, self-motivated, competitive, enthusiastic, and high powered disposition with polished experience with a service organization

  • Broad knowledge of plant environment and requirements coupled with the ability to develop custom solutions to meet changing needs of the customer

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with an understanding of sales processes and to heighten complex negotiation skills

  • Track record of demonstrated sales success

  • Must work well in a team environment with multiple resources

  • SFDC and Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

OUR ENVIRONMENT:

This position is based in your home office when not travelling to the customer or plant locations which may require the use of PPE including safety glasses, hardhat, ear protection and/or other protective equipment/clothing.Walking, standing, sitting, and computer work are all required in this environment.Sitting for long periods of time when travelling (mostly driving) is also required.
