How you will make an impact:

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams and oversee technical IT aspects of related activities.

  • Lead infrastructure and/or systems evaluation testing/proof of concepts; Lead maintenance and upgrade activities on IT infrastructure and/or applications

  • Lead the evaluation and recommendation of new product and/or service offerings, and serve as a technical lead on implementation including performing vendor management functions

  • Serve as the technical lead in the design and build of systems

  • Lead RASP initiatives (reliability, availability, scalability and performance).

  • Resolve problems by performing root cause analysis and developing and lead the implementation of corrective and preventative actions

  • Provide technical expertise and business requirements gathering sessions through interfacing with members of the business.

  • Author device, network and/or systems diagrams, including configuration parameters

  • Provide training, coaching and knowledge transfer to team members

  • Provide support and troubleshooting of issues/incidents

What you’ll need (Required):

  • Bachelor's Degree in in Engineering or technical field Required

  • 6 years experience in one of the following three areas, as appropriate for the position: IT Infrastructure Network, IT Infrastructure System, and Enterprise Applications

  • JAMF Pro 100 certification required.

  • Expert knowledge of MacOS

  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Intune to facilitate Mac enterprise enrollment

  • Knowledge of SCCM and Windows management preferred

  • Extensive knowledge of IT technologies (e.g. configuring equipment, network addressing, routing, VoIP, BC/DR, server admin, server and desktop virtualization, storage, email, database management, and application support.)

  • Extensive documentation and troubleshooting skills.

  • Extensive knowledge of system administration or configuration.

What else we look for (Preferred):

  • JAMF Pro 200+ certification preferred

  • Intermediate knowledge of bash scripting or other programming languages used for automation

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Excellent understanding of troubleshooting techniques with the ability to adapt and learn new technologies

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple problems simultaneously

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer focused skills

  • Experience drafting technical documentation

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of optimizing technical solutions across multiple technologies, working closely with the vendors and in-house Architects to design, test and implement strategic solutions

  • Strict attention to detail

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment

  • Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
